College of Arts & Physical Education Overview
Introduction
The College of Arts and Physical Education consists of the Department of Painting, Fashion Design, Music, Physical Education, Dance, and Film Arts. The Department of Painting fosters creative artists who will lead our nation’s art field through contemporary art education based on traditional Korean and modern art. The Department of Fashion aims to educate students to gain creativity in response to the rapid changes in the fashion industry, the capacity to freely express oneself, and to educate future designers who possess an international sense of design. The Department of Music aims to train students to develop their talent with the knowledge of music theory and performing arts in various music majors. The Department of Physical Education fosters students’ sports leadership skills through specialized training. The Department of Dance focuses on dance education theories and creativity. The Department of Film Arts emphasizes a comprehensive understanding of both art and film concepts and learn detailed techniques in acting and film production.
